Well, as of recent months we have started to see that women are being denied more and more of their right to show their body for body positivity as this is deemed “sexually explicit” women are having their accounts and pictures removed for a bit of cleavage which is outrageous. Over the last couple of years female body positivity and love has increased massively on social media giving more women the ability to see the love others have for their perfect imperfections enabling them to see that love for their own body too, this is incredibly helpful for women and their mental health as well as breaking the society’s ideology of what is deemed beautiful... giving younger girls and women more confidence and self love for their bodies. As self love has increased so has women owning their bodies and advertising their businesses on Instagram these businesses are in fact considered to be in the sex industry BUT the images being advertised don’t show anything but women in underwear etc nothing explicit or deemed as pornographic. If us as women can’t even have cleavage then what hope do we have? This is our body, it’s our life, its our business and no platform should not take away our right to make a living and our right to share how beautiful our bodies are. These rules need to change.
