Todos sabemos que Facebook es la red social más utilizada en la actualidad, contando con aproximadamente 1.230 millones de usuarios alrededor del mundo. Sabemos también que ejerce para muchos un papel importante, y que es parte de nuestro quehacer cotidiano. En la Argentina, el 90% de los usuarios de internet poseen cuenta en Facebook, donde el 52% son mujeres, por sobre el 48% de hombres que utilizan la plataforma. Aún así, Facebook no implementa politicas para la erradicación del sexismo en todas sus formas, y deja mucho que desear en ese aspecto. Tanto en Argentina como en el resto del mundo la violencia de género y la cosificación a la mujer son problemáticas sociales que están cada vez más vigentes, y a los que la red social no tiene cómo hacerle frente. En la misma sabemos que abundan infinidad de páginas misóginas, cuya única función es degradar al sexo femenino y fomentar el odio y la violencia hacia éste, y que la plataforma no cuenta con una solución al respecto. Facebook no debería contar sólo con la opción de "Contenido Sexista" dentro de las opciones de reportes, sino que debería actuar rápida y eficientemente al realizar una denucia, garantizandonos a los usuarios la eliminación pronta y segura dicho contenido sexista y cosificador.

Si queremos eliminar la violencia de género de nuestra sociedad, tenemos que hacer algo para que eso suceda, y exigirle a la red social más utilizada en el mundo la rápida implementación de una nueva Política que incluya la prohibición de todo contenido sexista, y la creación de una nueva opción de reporte, que permita denunciar fácilmente dicho contenido, es una buena manera de comenzar.

Everybody knows that facebook is the social network most used in the actuality, counting with aproximately 1.230 million users around the world. We also know that it exercises for many people an important paper, and that it is part of our daily life. In argentina, the 90% of internet users have an account in Facebook, where the 52% are women, over 48% of men using this platform. Still, Facebook does not implement policies to eradicate sexism in all its forms, and leaves much to be desired in this respect. Both in argentina and in the rest of the world the gender violence and the objectification of women are social issues that they are becoming more relevant, and that the social network has no way to cope. In the same know that abound misogynistic countless pages whose only function is to degrade the female and foment hatred and violence towards up to it, and that the platform does not have a solution. Facebook doesn't should count only with the opcion of "Sexist Content" within the reporting options, but should act quickly and efficiently to make a complaint, guaranteeing users the prompt and safe elimination of this sexist and reifying content.

If we want to eliminate the gender violence of our society, we must do something to make that happen, and demand the most used social network in the world the rapid implementation of a new policy that includes the prohibition of any sexist content, and the creation of a new report option that allows easily denounce the content, it is a good way to start.
