Greetings and thanks for signing our petition. In just 4 days we have nearly 100 signatures, and the word is just starting to spread. Privacy and protection are prime concerns for those who use Facebook as a way to be in touch with their friends, families, causes and interests. As the internet and social networking continue to develop, it is critical that the needs of the humans who use it are taken into consideration. No one should have to risk their personal safety to access their support system. We are continuing to gain support as we cast a wide net around the internet. We hope that you will share the petition on your newsfeeds and engage others in conversations about the safety and privacy issues at stake here. Many who have signed do belong to one of the groups most affected by the real name policy. Others in those groups need to be made aware of the petition so they can sign and add their voices. Our only real hope, is in building the number of supporters, or Facebook will not react/respond to the issue. Please visit our Facebook page and give us a like.
