Extention of entry time of RCI Vidyavihar and change in normal functioning of the hostel

The Issue

We, the MBA students residing in RCI Vidyavihar, are writing to request a revision of the current hostel and cafeteria timings. We believe that the extension of the hostel entry timing to 7:30 PM, extending the cafeteria timings to 2 AM, and removal of time constraints for ordering food will greatly enhance our living and learning experience.

The current rules, which were established in 2004, that is 20 years ago, do not reflect the needs and demands of today’s students. Our academic and professional commitments often require us to stay out beyond the current entry time, and the limited cafeteria hours restrict our access to food during late-night study sessions.

The inability to order food without time constraints further exacerbates this issue, leaving us with limited options for sustenance during crucial study hours. This not only impacts our health and well-being but also hampers our academic performance.

We believe that a hostel should be student-centric, catering to the needs of its residents. The proposed changes will not only make the hostel more accommodating but also foster a more conducive environment for learning and growth.

Now is the time to act. With the increasing intensity of our coursework and the evolving nature of the MBA program, it is imperative that our living conditions adapt to facilitate our success. We kindly urge the concerned authorities to consider our request and make RCI Vidyavihar a place that truly supports its students. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
