Since Monday, 15th May, teachers have been on strike due to low pay. Classes have been cancelled. This means we only have 2-3 official college days to work on our projects in class.

Without tutors available, we do not get the support we need through direct contact. Students cannot discuss and exchange feedback verbally. Many students have difficulty working at home and need a classroom environment to work optimally. Not everyone owns digital software to complete production work or even a powerful enough computer to run WiX-- an essential platform for submitting our work.

We need at least a two-week extension due to the number of cancelled classes. Not to mention the bank holidays taking two full days of teaching time.
