Many Bridgewater (Princeton, Texas) homeowners have recently discussed our dissatisfaction with the window of time the Bridgewater Amenity Center Pool is open. Last season the pool opened May 21 and closed September 5.

In North Texas, the average highs starting May 1 are in the 80s. Similarly, in September each year, the average is also around 80 through the end of the month. In hotter years, October has continued to be scorching hot through halloween.

As a community, we thrive around our pool and amenity center. Many of us have made close friends by meeting at the pool - at this time it really is the center of our community's connection. 

While we understand that PMP primarily serves Lennar's interests at this point in the development of Bridgewater, we are also still forming as a community - our connectedness should matter to Lennar's sales team and executives. People want to join a happy & connected community. This connection has not been nearly as evident outside of the pool season. We believe extending the pool season would be beneficial to ourselves and the development of our community - including those who have financial interest in its success.

We are requesting the pool season start earlier and end later. This would allow us to enjoy the full seasons of heat in Texas at our pool as a community, not just between Memorial and Labor Day. We hope that PMP genuinely considers this request and values the input from our community.
