Extend the 3/3A bus route to Oxford train station

Extend the 3/3A bus route to Oxford train station
The Issue
The 3/3A bus route to the city centre currently terminates at Westgate - over a 12 minute walk from the train station.
The Oxford Bus Company has previously called this proposal 'unprofitable'. We don't think that's good enough. We’re calling on the County Council and bus companies to extend this bus route all the way to the train station.
This would help make our public transport system more joined up and accessible for everyone, particularly those living near the Iffley Road.
This petition is part of Oxford Labour's Better Buses campaign, in which we’re calling for a number of changes to our bus services based on what you have told us.
Oxford Labour have asked hundreds of residents across the city how they want bus services to improve. You told us that you want better bus connections to key destinations like the train stations, hospitals, and shops. And you told us you want better services overall - buses that are more reliable, more frequent, and more affordable.
The Labour Government has nearly doubled bus funding for Oxfordshire to over £9 million. Labour will keep pushing the Lib Dems and Greens running the County Council to put this money to good use.
