I recently came to know about an unusual amusement park in Ohio called Stricker's Grove. I have never had the opportunity to visit, but I was fascinated by what I saw presented in a video documentary on YouTube. It was astonishing to learn that the park is only open to the public for a limited 8 days a year.

This park holds significant potential that goes largely untapped due to its unorthodox operating schedule. Ohio, with its warm summers, offers the perfect atmosphere for a thriving amusement park. Yet, Stricker's Grove is scarcely open during these ripe seasons for enjoyment and merriment. It is time to consider the park's operation over the period similar to other regional parks such as Knoebels.

Knoebels Amusement Resort, known for its similar ticketing options, is open close to half the year, providing families and amusement park enthusiasts ample opportunity to partake in the park's attractions. Accordingly, I propose Stricker's Grove follows a similar schedule, setting their operation to extend throughout the summer or, at the least, every weekend from April to September.

This change has the potential to significantly increase job opportunities seasonally and provide a more constant stream of income to support the park's maintenance and growth. I believe that by making this change, Stricker's Grove can become a more accessible means for creating treasured memories and community enjoyment. Let's bring joy to more families and enthusiasts by extending Stricker's Grove's operating schedule to match other amusement parks. Join me in signing this petition.
