WLFR is a pillar of our community at Stockton University. At the center of the radio station is our Community Manager and Music Director, Mariella Negro. Due to budget constraints at the university, all temporary positions, including Mariella’s, are being eliminated. Mariella has dedicated two years to serving Stockton and the students at WLFR; her passion has inspired students across all disciplines to enhance their skills in live broadcast, media production, and creative design. From career development opportunities to community-focused events, Mariella goes above and beyond to provide the best opportunities for her students. Losing Mariella would devastate, not just for WLFR, but also the entire community at Stockton. We are advocating for Mariella’s position to be reinstated as a permanent role at Stockton University.
