Our Region Deserves Equal Urgency
While major investments—including a reported $740 million corridor improvement project between Lake Elsinore and Corona—are moving forward to address regional congestion, the Murrieta/Temecula bottleneck remains one of the most painful daily traffic constraints in Southwest Riverside County.
Thousands of commuters traveling between our communities and San Diego continue to face severe delays, with limited transit alternatives and no immediate large-scale relief focused on this critical segment.
We recognize that regional improvements are happening, and we appreciate the engagement from local officials. However, the scale and urgency of investment should reflect the real daily burden placed on residents, families, workers, and businesses in our area.
Southwest Riverside County deserves the same level of attention and urgency.
