It would mean a lot to me as i spend most of my time in Berwick, i work and have to commute from outside of berwick. I usally work past 5 PM which requires me to try find a lift most of the time as theres no buses running. I also use the gym in berwick, the bus times again restricts me from using that gym after 5pm! The last bus home from one of our local nearest towns is at 5:20 PM, which is simply ridiculous. Many people would appreciate a later bus service, especially those commuting for work or teenagers whose parents cannot always drive them around or may not have a car.

Additionally, people arriving by train need a way to get home. Extending the evening bus service would greatly benefit our community by providing more flexibility and convenience for everyone. Please sign this petition to urge the SBC to implement a later evening bus service from Berwick upon Tweed!
