As a local resident and student attending Sheridan College, seniors requiring to visit Cassie Campbell Community Center or Grocery Store like FreshCo, I am personally affected by the lack of convenient access to public transportation in Brampton, ON. Currently, Bus Routes 4 and 4A terminate/turn at Wanless Drive, making the commute challenging for many of us residing north of Wanless towards Mayfield Road. 

Many students, working professionals, seniors rely on these routes for their educational, employment commitments as well as getting groceries and accessing community centre. A significant distance of over 20 minutes' walk separates these individuals from the nearest bus stop, a hardship that becomes especially strenuous during the harsh winter season. This issue is not limited to a few individuals but affects a considerable section of the population residing in these areas.

We ask for the extension of Bus Routes 4 and 4A to include stops up to Clockwork Drive or Mayfield Road, providing sufficient coverage for those currently underserved. This would not only cut down commute times but also enhance the safety and convenience of public transportation for students, working professionals, seniors in North West Brampton, ON.
