Thank you to everyone who attended Monday night’s Board of Commissioners meeting and submitted anonymous concerns and public comments for the record. The Board of Commissioners condemned the flyover act of bullying as well as questioned the Board of SLL’s inaction in dealing with the incident. Township Commissioners expressed skepticism that members of the SLL community do not know who was responsible for the flyover. Township Commissioners also noted that the Board of SLL should have the strongest motivation to hold accountable the individuals causing this level of harm to our community.
If you were unable to attend but want to view the meeting, the Township posted a video here (SLL business begins at 32 minute mark): Video of 6/10 Springfield Township Meeting.
In the meantime, we are still awaiting the outcome of the SLL Board's investigation. We hope that consequences for those involved and complicit with the bullying will comply with Part D of the Little League Child Protection Program, which states that anyone who engages in harassment in any form or commits acts of intimidation shall be prohibited from participating in Little League.
We are eager to hear actions that will restore trust, integrity, and transparency for our League.
