The Springfield "in house" Little League is about the kids and our community. Not the competition. It has come to our attention that the Springfield Little League Board will be voting on "in house" coaches this coming Tuesday at their meeting.
The individual who hired the plane in the flyover incident, and was forced to step down from the board, has put forth his name to coach kids in the community as an "in house" head coach this season. This individual has never acknowledged, or taken responsibility, for his wrongdoing, nor ever apologized to the parent he targeted.
We teach our children that actions have consequences. When you do something wrong you own it, you apologize, and you make amends. The same holds true for adults, and certainly for those who want to lead and coach our children.
If you believe that this individual should not be coaching kids in our community, please let the board know.

Dear SLL Board Member,
I am writing to you in anticipation to your March 3rd vote for the induction of Springfield Little League baseball coaches for the upcoming season.
I support Article VII of the SLL Bylaws which commits all participants in the league to an antibullying policy with zero tolerance for physical bullying, verbal bullying, emotional bullying, social and cyber-bullying, harassment or hazing.
I strongly urge you to vote to exclude as a coach an individual associated with the plane fly-over on May 18th, 2024, which was meant to bully and harass another parent in the SLL community.
Thank you.
Remember, voting is tomorrow (March 3rd) at 08:00 p.m.!
We appreciate, and thank you all, for your continued support!
