A disturbing reminder of the past

I’m posting this because I am honestly in shock. I just saw someone from Live in Fitness—the same organization run by the boss who raided my personal belongings, questioned me about having condoms, and never paid me the agreed amount for my social media work—adjusting a setting on our 2019 Trello Board.  I then saw the 60 posts I made, with my own personal photography, before the dawn of easy AI captions.   Thanks for reminding me you basically used me and lied to me?   

It is jarring to see this person still interacting with my work after everything they put me through. For those who have been following along, this is the same individual whose actions completely derailed my life and aspiring professional career with his harassment and lack of boundaries, triggering a cascade of series of unfortunate events.    Seeing them pop up like this is a stark reminder of the lack of accountability and the unprofessionalism I’ve been fighting against.   One more entitled dude on the books using people for labor and then never paying them, thinking somehow his mere presence is compensatory recourse? 

I won’t let these reminders discourage me. If anything, it’s a sign that we need to keep pushing for the justice and compensation that is long overdue.
