Time to Close Major Star Act Petition?

It has been 24 hours since my last update.

In that time, only 2 new veterans joined the congressional and media email campaign.

We still need 23 more participants to reach the goal I set for this 72-hour Blitz.

We are also approaching one full year since this petition was launched. I need to know whether the people who signed it are still actively engaged in this effort or whether participation has run its course.

I’ve spent the last year building the tools, documenting the legislation, tracking Congress, publishing the record, contacting the media, and keeping this issue in front of congressional offices.

But an advocacy campaign cannot be sustained indefinitely by the same small group of people.

So I’m going to let the next 48 hours answer the question.

If we do not reach that goal by the end of the 72-hour period, I will take that as a clear signal that it may be time to close this campaign and this petition for good.
