For those that aren't aware, I have been working very closely with PassTheAct.org. They are the ones who took donations to put up billboards of Roger Wicker in Tupelo and Jackson and will be getting billboards in Oshkosh, WI ( Ron Johnson's hometown) to hold him accountable for his recent Major Star Act block. We coordinated together on getting WTVA 9 to cover the story after months of silence from big 6 VSOs on this bill.
The team will be headed to DC on April 15th. If you follow 54Kveterans or PassTheAct you know we have zero issues holding politicians accountable left or right. Congress as whole must be held accountable for using veterans as photo ops for their campaigns, then turning their backs on us as soon as they are elected. So instead of asking for a hand out , PassTheAct is ready to ask the tough questions and to demand transparency.
What makes PassTheAct.org different from VFW or any other VSO? 100% focus on getting Major Richard Star Act across the finish line. Any donation you make goes directly to the cause, not salaries or insane overhead. If this matches what you're looking for in an organization, remaining 100% focused on getting pensions restored to 54,000 combat injured veterans you can support by giving a small donation of $10 or more.
How are donations used? Boosted social media post to raise awareness and billboards in objectors home towns so they can't outrun their decision to betray 54,000 combat injured veterans.
