Expose Auto Finance Fraud: Demand Justice and Reform in the Car Loan Industry

Expose Auto Finance Fraud: Demand Justice and Reform in the Car Loan Industry
The Issue
I’m calling on the Kansas Attorney General, CFPB, FTC, state banking regulators, and Congress to investigate and stop the systemic fraud happening in the auto finance industry.
I purchased a vehicle from Drive Now Inc. / Guaranteed Auto Finance LLC, and what looked like a simple contract turned out to be a deceptive financial scheme. The dealership used my signature to get paid up front — then demanded I pay again through years of payments. After using a Power of Attorney I didn’t understand, they repossessed my vehicle, reported false information on my credit, and kept my personal property — all while operating without a valid lending license.
This isn't just about one company. This is a widespread problem:
Consumers are being forced to sign over their rights without understanding the documents
Dealerships are using your signature as a credit instrument — then demanding payments on something they’ve already been paid for
Unlicensed lenders are repossessing vehicles and reporting to credit bureaus
Contracts are being monetized behind closed doors, while families are left in financial ruin
This is a form of legalized theft, and it’s time to bring it into the light.
What We Demand:
1. Immediate investigation into unlicensed lending practices in the auto industry
2. Reform of auto contracts, power of attorney use, and consumer disclosures
3. Enforcement of Fair Credit Reporting Act and consumer lending laws
4. The return of vehicles and compensation for consumers harmed by these practices
5. Public hearings and legislative action to stop this exploitation for good
We are the ones creating the value — and the system is using that value against us. We demand truth, justice, and change.
