Expedite the Citizenship Process for Temecula & California's Indian Residents

Expedite the Citizenship Process for Temecula & California's Indian Residents
The Issue
On behalf of 700 Indian residents of Temecula, & their children, I am urging for the acceleration of their citizenship processes. These individuals have been "in line" for citizenship for 5, 10, 15, & even up to 20 years. All the while, they have thoroughly adhered to our laws & have borne the burden of hefty taxes—significantly contributing to our community & society.
These are not just numbers or faceless applicants; these are our neighbors. They are an integral part of our diverse community fabric, enriching it with their unique cultural & social contributions. They deserve our help & support in their long-standing pursuit of official recognition as American citizens.
The prolonged waiting period leads to high levels of uncertainty & stress impacting not only the hopeful prospective citizens but also their families. Their children grow up in a state of limbo, with an unsettling query about belonging in their hearts, even though they are as American as any other child growing up next to them.
While we have specific immigration policies in place, it's essential to revisit & revise these when they cause undue distress to law-abiding, tax-paying residents who aspire for full-fledged citizenship. According to the Green Card Backlog Coalition's latest report, there are millions like our neighbors, living in anticipation of their green cards.
This is a humble plea for your immediate intervention in hastening the citizenship procedure for Temecula & California's Indian residents. Your voice can echo the hopes & dreams of our neighbors who have extended their vital participation & enrichment to our society while yearning for their complete integration. Please, sign this petition. Let's help them embrace the American Dream.
