We support the Lehigh community and believe that sports games play a vital role in fostering school spirit, camaraderie, and a healthy lifestyle among students and faculty. However, we’ve observed that many students face barriers when it comes to attending these events due to limited transportation options on Lehigh’s expansive campus. This can often mean missing out on cheering for their friends, peers, or enjoying a much-needed break from academics.

Our current transportation system simply does not adequately support the needs of students who wish to participate in the sports culture here at Lehigh. Many students do not have personal vehicles, and the existing shuttle service is inconsistent and unreliable. For many, the struggle to find a way to games can be discouraging enough to deter them from attending altogether.

Our goal is to urge the administration to assess the adequacy of current transportation measures and to explore expanding and improving these services for the benefit of the entire student body.
