I wish to update you all as it has been a while since the last update.
We reached a total of 1,044 petitions!!
I wanted to ensure to you all that your voices were officially sent to and heard by the Deputy Premier and to the NSW Transport Minister Jo Haylen.
Since the start of our petition back in May 2023, the Bus Industry Taskforce (which was established as part of NSW Government's independent review mechanism) has been going around seeking feedback and has since handed two reports, first in July 2023 and the second one in October 2023.
The taskforce's final report is due on 01 May 2024.
Many politicians, including the Member for Riverstone, Warren Kirby has been working closely with the Minister's office and the taskforce.
The on-demand transport is in the mix as one of many solutions to address the complex transport infrastructure issues that we face.
