Nos encontramos en un momento crítico en el que es crucial reconocer la amenaza que el Cuerpo de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica (IRGC, también conocidos como los Pasdarán) representa para la seguridad global. Esta organización ha sido implicada en actividades que ponen en riesgo la paz mundial, como el respaldo a grupos terroristas, la proliferación de tecnología nuclear y militar, y constantes violaciones de derechos humanos.

Durante los 47 años de existencia de la República Islámica, se han producido violaciones masivas y sistemáticas de derechos humanos por parte de las autoridades iraníes.

Como testigos de esta realidad, ya sabemos que, durante las últimas protestas pacíficas del pueblo de Irán en enero de 2026, miles de civiles han sido asesinados, detenidos arbitrariamente, torturados cruelmente o han desaparecido, en un contexto de represión cada vez más generalizada por parte de la Guardia Revolucionaria de la República
Islámica, acompañada de un apagón deliberado de Internet y de las telecomunicaciones; todo ello bajo órdenes directas del líder supremo.

En este contexto, resulta especialmente alarmante que en pleno movimiento "Mujer Vida Libertad" y en una etapa marcada por las sanciones, España haya vendido material y tecnología militar al Estado iraní por un importe aproximado de 6 millones de euros, según se ha informado en la prensa española. 

Nos preocupa enormemente que este material haya sido utilizado directamente contra la población civil iraní durante las protestas, y que esté contribuyendo a la capacidad represiva y desestabilizadora del régimen más allá de sus fronteras.

El uso de armas, tecnología y recursos para la represión interna no solo supone una amenaza directa para el pueblo iraní, sino que convierte al régimen iraní en un peligro para la estabilidad regional e internacional. Por ello, considero imprescindible que España suspenda de inmediato cualquier exportación de material militar, de seguridad o de uso dual a la República Islámica de Irán.

Asimismo, expresamos nuestra profunda preocupación por la negativa de España a apoyar la inclusión del Cuerpo de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica (IRGC) en la lista de organizaciones terroristas. El IRGC no es una fuerza militar convencional, sino un actor central en la represión interna, las ejecuciones extrajudiciales y torturas constantes, el terrorismo transnacional y el apoyo a milicias armadas tanto contra el pueblo iraní como en distintos países.

Su no designación debilita los esfuerzos internacionales para frenar la impunidad.

Por todo ello, solicitamos respetuosamente al Gobierno de España que:

1. Apoye activamente la inclusión del IRGC en la lista de organizaciones terroristas, tanto a nivel nacional como en el marco de la Unión Europea.

2. Evitar a toda costa, todo tipo de exportación de material militar, seguridad o de uso dual a la República Islámica de Irán.

3. Reconozca públicamente la naturaleza criminal y sistemática de la represión ejercida por el Estado iraní, en consonancia con el principio de Responsabilidad de Proteger (R2P).

4. Exigir responsabilidades expulsando a los diplomáticos del régimen y emprendiendo acciones legales contra los responsables de crímenes contra la humanidad.

5. Reconozca a Reza Pahlavi como un interlocutor político legítimo, respaldado por una parte significativa del pueblo iraní y como figura clave en la articulación de una transición democrática y mantenga un encuentro institucional con él para comprender que las demandas del pueblo iraní se basan en un proyecto serio, estructurada y viable para el futuro de Irán tras el colapso del régimen actual.

De acuerdo con el principio internacional de Responsabilidad de Proteger (R2P), cuando un Estado comete crímenes contra su propia población o no puede o no quiere prevenirlos, la responsabilidad recae en la comunidad internacional. En este contexto, no se trata de una decisión política discrecional, sino de una responsabilidad moral para el Gobierno de España.

Mantener relaciones militares, permitir la venta de material susceptible de uso represivo o negarse a designar al IRGC como organización terrorista contribuye de forma directa a la continuidad de estos crímenes y expone a España al riesgo de complicidad. Actuar conforme al R2P implica impedir que estas estructuras sigan utilizando recursos internacionales para asesinar civiles dentro y fuera de Irán y asumir una posición clara en defensa de la vida humana y del derecho internacional.

La defensa de los derechos humanos no puede coexistir con la venta de armas, la normalización de estructuras represivas ni el rechazo sistemático a soluciones democráticas viables.

De acuerdo con varios informes de inteligencia y de derechos humanos, el IRGC ha sido responsable de enviar tecnología y armamentos a regiones en conflicto, amplificando la violencia y la inestabilidad política. Además, su participación en programas nucleares ilícitos amenaza con desencadenar una carrera armamentística en regiones ya tensas, poniendo en peligro la seguridad internacional.

Por ello, es urgente que la comunidad internacional tome medidas decisivas. Exigimos que se designe formalmente al IRGC como una organización terrorista a nivel global. Asimismo, es esencial la suspensión inmediata de cualquier exportación de tecnología y materiales que puedan ser utilizados con fines militares o nucleares al IRGC y entidades vinculadas a este.

Esta designación no solo aislaría al IRGC de recursos críticos, sino que también enviaría un mensaje claro de que el apoyo al terrorismo y la desestabilización no serán tolerados. Países como Estados Unidos y el Reino Unido ya han tomado pasos similares, y es tiempo de que más naciones se unan a esta causa justa.

--------WE DEMAND THAT SPAIN STOPS COLABORATING WITH THE TERRORIST STATE OF THE AYATOLLAHS-----------------------------------------------------

We find ourselves at a critical moment in which it is crucial to recognize the threat that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, also known as the Pasdaran) poses to global security. This organization has been implicated in activities that endanger world peace, such as supporting terrorist groups, the proliferation of nuclear and military technology, and ongoing human rights violations.

During the 47 years of the Islamic Republic’s existence, massive and systematic human rights violations have been committed by Iranian authorities.

As witnesses to this reality, we already know that during the latest peaceful protests by the people of Iran in January 2026, thousands of civilians were killed, arbitrarily detained, cruelly tortured, or disappeared, amid increasingly widespread repression by the Islamic Republic’s Revolutionary Guard, accompanied by a deliberate shutdown of the Internet and telecommunications—all under direct orders from the Supreme Leader.

In this context, it is particularly alarming that, in the midst of Women, Life, Freedom movement and during a period marked with sanctions, Spain has sold military and technology equipment to the Iranian state for an approximate amount of 6 million euros, as reported in the Spanish press.

We are deeply concerned that this material may have been used directly against the Iranian civilian population during the protests and that it is  contributing to the regime’s repressive and destabilizing capacity beyond its borders.

The use of weapons, technology, and resources for internal repression not only represents a direct threat to the Iranian people, but also turns the Iranian regime into a danger to regional and international stability. Therefore, I consider it essential that Spain immediately suspend any export of military, security, or dual-use material to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Likewise, we express our deep concern over Spain’s refusal to support the inclusion of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on the list of terrorist organizations. The IRGC is not a conventional military force, but rather a central actor in internal repression, extrajudicial executions and ongoing torture, transnational terrorism, and the support of armed militias both against the Iranian people and in various countries.
Its non-designation weakens international efforts to curb impunity.

For all these reasons, we respectfully request that the Government of Spain:

1. Actively support the inclusion of the IRGC on the list of terrorist organizations, both nationally and within the framework of the European Union.
2. Immediately suspend all exports of military, security, or dual-use material to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
3. Publicly recognize the criminal and systematic nature of the repression exercised by the Iranian state, in line with the principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P).
4. Promote and support independent international mechanisms for investigation and accountability for the crimes committed.
5. Recognize Reza Pahlavi as a legitimate political interlocutor, supported by a significant portion of the Iranian people and as a key figure in articulating a democratic transition, and hold an institutional meeting with him to understand that the demands of the Iranian people are based on a serious, structured, and viable project for Iran’s future after the collapse of the current regime.

According to the international principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P), when a state commits crimes against its own population or is unable or unwilling to prevent them, responsibility falls on the international community. In this context, this is not a discretionary political decision, but a moral responsibility for the Government of Spain.
Maintaining military relations, allowing the sale of materials that may be used for repression, or refusing to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization directly contributes to the continuation of these crimes and exposes Spain to the risk of complicity. Acting in accordance with R2P means preventing these structures from continuing to use international resources to kill civilians inside and outside Iran and taking a clear stand in defense of human life and international law.

The defense of human rights cannot coexist with the sale of weapons, the normalization of repressive structures, or the systematic rejection of viable democratic solutions.

According to several intelligence and human rights reports, the IRGC has been responsible for sending technology and weaponry to conflict regions, amplifying violence and political instability. In addition, its involvement in illicit nuclear programs threatens to trigger an arms race in already tense regions, endangering international security.
Therefore, it is urgent that the international community take decisive action. We demand that the IRGC be formally designated as a terrorist organization at the global level. Likewise, the immediate suspension of any export of technology and materials that could be used for military or nuclear purposes to the IRGC and affiliated entities is essential. This designation would not only isolate the IRGC from critical resources, but would also send a clear message that support for terrorism and destabilization will not be tolerated. Countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom have already taken similar steps, and it is time for more nations to join this just cause.
