I am one of the many hardworking individuals who put in extra hours at work, only to have my overtime pay heavily taxed. It's a struggle that many of us face, working beyond the standard 40-hour week, yet not reaping the full benefits of our labor due to excessive taxation.  It is time for a change in policy that recognizes and rewards hard work instead of penalizing it with heavy taxes on overtime pay. We propose a revision in tax laws that would require only regular wages to be taxed while exempting overtime pay from taxation.
