On Sunday evening, I mentioned that the petition needed only five more signatures for 2000 people to have signed on-line
Within one hour, over 40 people had read and signed the petition
In less than two days, nearly 100 people have added their names to ours to register opposition to the council's growth plans for our Royal Borough
Thank you to everyone for your support
Please keep sharing the petition so that more and more people understand the context for the massive growth figures that the council is presenting to us in its "consultation" on the new Local Plan
I will post some comments on that consultation shortly, as well as on the consultation on the Statement of Community Involvement that closes this Friday
Please submit comments - I will summarise key issues that I identify upon which you may wish to respond to the council
I will soon be sending in to the Inspectors of the Examination in Public of the London Plan my new evidence of why Kingston's growth targets and status as an "opportunity area" are unsound
I will post the evidence as an update to this petition and on my website at www.shahscott.com
Please contact me through my website if you would like some paper leaflets about the council's undemocratic growth plans to distribute in your local area
