Time is nearly up

The Inspectors of the Examination in Public of the London Plan (the "EiP") have nearly completed their work

I have presented to the EiP session on "opportunity areas" and given evidence about why the Kingston "opportunity area" designation and our large sites targets are flawed

Since then, more evidence has come to light about the machinations of our local political representatives and of the Greater London Authority to push through a pre-determined growth agenda in Kingston

This evidence exposes how the council's professions of following a constitutional and democratically-scrutinised process are no more than hollow rhetoric and reveals how the exercise of unscrutinised power on a level that one could not have imagined in our democracy appears to be precipitating the demise of our Royal Borough

The council silenced me in the past with a threat of legal action but the evidence is now in the public domain and will speak for itself
