Two thousand people have signed the petition on- line and on paper

Thank you to everybody who has supported this campaign to inform Kingston Borough residents and people beyond Kingston about our council's undemocratically agreed plans for massive large site development across the Borough, and for what the council hopes will be the designation of the borough as a euphemistically named "opportunity" area in the new London Plan

This all stems from the Direction of Travel, a flawed document that was not communicated to residents in any way that would have allowed proper consultation and informed response, which is opaque and the purpose of which is completely unclear

Thank you so much to everybody who has funded and delivered leaflets and knocked on doors. Almost everybody we have spoken to knew nothing about the council's plans for the Borough

We still need to let many more residents in many more neighbourhoods know about what is about to hit us all

Nobody will be unaffected by these plans

Can you help?

1. Can you share the petition with family, friends and neighbours on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms and ask them to sign it and share it with other people?

2. Can you deliver some leaflets in your road or local area? We can deliver some leaflets to you wherever you live

With a little help, we can turn 2,000 signatures in to the voices of 4,000 people

We simply need to let people across the Borough know about these plans
