These days no matter where you go you can't wear anything revealing.

I realized that there is something wrong after this conversation with my mom.

"Don't buy that dress, people can see your bra strap and too much of your shoulders" is what she told my sister.

We are girls and yes we wear bras and yes we get hot some times. No matter where I go I hear people saying nasty things. Want to wear short jeans? You're a whore. Want to wear a cute cropped top? You're disgusting. My mom always check that when I walk you can't see my stomach, that the jeans aren't too close to my butt and thatq my back is not revealed. Why? Because you're a girl. 

I asked my mom why do people treat us like an object? She told me that it's the opposite and to keep us safe.

And it's exactly this things that objectify us and makes us think that we need to cover ourselves.

Im not asking to walk around with my booty shorts and bra I just want to make a change. Make a change in society and the way people look at us. I want to be able to walk around in summer without sweating like a horse. I want to be able to be a girl and be proud of my curves and be confident in myself.
