Vote Home: let's end the housing crisis by 2025
Why this petition matters

Every night, more than 105,000 Australians don’t have a place to call home. That’s one in every 200 people.
House prices and rents keep increasing faster than incomes and there are over 200,000 Australians on waiting lists for public and community housing.
Yet despite this, current policy settings continue to favour tax breaks for investors over people owning homes. Cuts to affordable rental housing programs have made the situation even worse.
Rapidly rising house prices and lack of affordable rental properties affects all of us. We need to urgently build a plan to a brighter future.
That’s why this election we are building a movement of Australians who will ensure their vote this election is a Vote Home.
A Vote Home is a vote for a national strategy to address housing affordability and a vote for political parties to commit to end the housing crisis by 2025.
Will you join us? Sign this petition and let’s build this movement to end Australia’s housing crisis!
Let's tell all our political leaders that to secure our vote this election, they need to commit to a national strategy to address housing affordability and homelessness.
A Vote Home is a vote for a government committed to ending the housing crisis by 2025.
