Across Baltimore and surrounding communities, families are struggling with unsafe housing conditions, unaffordable rent, housing instability, displacement, and systems that are too difficult to navigate when they need help the most.

Every Family Deserves a Safe Home is a movement of Empower Her Beautee Foundation, Inc. calling for real solutions—not temporary promises.

We are calling on housing leaders, elected officials, agencies, property owners, and community partners to work together to:

• Expand access to safe and genuinely affordable housing for low-income families.

• Strengthen accountability for dangerous and uninhabitable rental conditions.

• Improve access to emergency housing assistance before families become homeless.

• Create clearer pathways from homelessness and housing instability into permanent housing.

• Ensure families facing housing crises are heard, respected, and connected to meaningful help.

This movement is also working directly with families through our Baltimore 100 Campaign, with the goal of connecting 100 families facing housing instability with resources, advocacy, and support.

Housing is not just about buildings. It is about children having a safe place to sleep. It is about parents being able to build stable lives. It is about dignity, security, and opportunity.

No family should have to choose between homelessness and unsafe housing.
