The vibrant, bustling neighborhood of Osman Nagar in Hyderabad is known for its community spirit and safe environment, particularly for women, be it pedestrians or those driving alone. However, this safety and peace have recently been compromised. A group of immigrants has occupied the vacant land opposite Ozone Heights CSE Society and Cyberwood Bricks, and their settlement has burgeoned into a full-fledged slum.

This illegal occupancy has caused severe disturbances and threatens the very fabric of our community. Incidents of eve teasing have become alarmingly frequent, deterring our women from walking the roads freely and safely. The local community is also reeling under the pressure of street mob extortion, which has escalated to a point where it poses a significant security threat to all residents.

Moreover, the area is witnessing growing hygiene issues due to open defecation, a public health concern that needs urgent attention. The risk of accidents also looms large, especially with mob-induced chaos on the streets.

Several residents have formally reported these disruptions and crimes to the Kollur Police Station, but effective action is yet to be taken. It is imperative that the local government intervenes urgently to evacuate this illegal settlement to restore peace and safety to Osman Nagar.

We implore the authorities to prioritize the safety of women and all residents, enforce legal stipulations regarding land occupancy, and take immediate steps to improve public safety and sanitation in the area. This will not only help in regaining the neighborhood's harmony but also re-establish trust in public governance.

Join us in calling for immediate action by the local authorities to evacuate the illegal occupancy threatening our safety and well-being. Please sign this petition and stand with us in our endeavor to reclaim a safe, secure, and hygienic environment in Osman Nagar.
