Request Eurowings to refund customers for cancelled trips

The Issue

The world is living very difficult times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We, as Eurowings customers are fully comprehensive that the outbreak is causing big troubles for Eurowings and all air flight companies. However, these are difficult times for us customers too, as we are struggling with flight cancellations and cancellation of business and professional trips, holidays, etc.

The European Commission issued on March 18, 2020 certain Guidelines in which it is clear that Eurowings should grant monetary refund to their customers for cancelled trips due to COVID-19 outbreak. We request Eurowings to remain loyal to their customers and to comply with EU Laws and Regulations.

It is together that we will beat the COVID-19 and not by ignoring customers’ requests, by leaving us on hold for interminable hours and by requesting us, your loyal customers, to struggle with the cancellation of flights and bear the costs of it. For many of us, vouchers are not a suitable remedy as we are bearing with high costs due to cancelled events and don't know when we will be able to travel.

It is time for Eurowings to make things right. Refund your customers for cancelled trips and comply with EU Law now!
