Websites should be required to make data privacy settings easier to access and change.

Websites should be required to make data privacy settings easier to access and change.
The Issue
The introduction of the GDPR law was a huge step in enforcing the user's rights on how their data is used. However, while many websites have provided an easy way to see and change how your data is managed, there are still websites that follow time consuming steps and have interfaces that are not easy to navigate and change for the user, where in some cases, it requires digging through many links on a website to find the data settings you want. As a person who regards their data privacy as an important matter (as the reader may do as well), having to go through a long and lengthy process on dozens of websites a day to simply say no to data collection takes up time that could be used more productively during the day. It seems like only an inconvenience, but if you are constantly short of time and your work or past time requires regular use of the internet, you are more likely to sacrifice your privacy for the sake of saving time by pressing the "i consent" button if the settings are buried deep within the website or are not intuitive enough for the user.
We need the GDPR law to require all websites to provide easy to use interfaces so that you can control your data privacy with the least inconveniences. Otherwise, a universal option for your data collection settings (opt in or opt out) that could be applied to every website you enter without you requiring to change the specifics on every website unless if you require to.
