At the June 20, 2024 meeting, 4 members of the Berkeley Heights Board of Education voted against the formal establishment of the CMS Prism Club (2 voted yes, 1 abstained, 1 Mtsd BOE member ineligible to vote). Prism is a club that supports LGBTQIA+ students at Columbia Middle School.  Supporting LBTQIA+ students is vital at this age. Please sign this petition to encourage the Berkeley Heights Board of Education to reconsider establishing this club and to support all students in the Berkeley Heights School District.
