Establish Requirement of 100,000 Signatures for Polish Presidential Election 2025

Establish Requirement of 100,000 Signatures for Polish Presidential Election 2025
The Issue
I imagine my story might resonate with you, whether you've lived in a bustling city like Manchester, or found quiet respite within a small contemporary town hidden away in Chorley just as I once did. Life took an unexpected turn that led me from the loud, chaotic energy of relentless city life to a town where even the quiet had an overwhelming presence. Change is sometimes reluctant, yet vital. It reminds me a lot of the politics, primarily the prerequisite for participating in Polish Presidential Election.
The current requirement allows various candidates, with their numerous ideologies, to participate. However, it might leave voters in a field of confusion, unable to clearly distinguish between serious contenders and others. Therefore, I suggest a change: requiring a mandatory 100,000 signatures to qualify for the Polish Presidential Election in 2025.
This proposal is not unheard of. Different countries with varying population sizes have established similar rules. For instance, the requirement for signatures to become a presidential candidate in France is 500 elected officials (source: National Assembly, France). The number might be less, but considering the difference in population, it is proportionate.
The proposal of 100,000 signatures aims to ensure that only the most serious and deserving candidates can stand, allowing people to make a clear and judgemental choice. It sets a standard, limiting contenders to those who have demonstrated significant public support, thereby preventing an unintelligible and crowded ballot.
After all, elections are about making an informed, well-decided choice. Help me bring about this change. Sign this petition today, and let's set a thoughtful path for the Polish Presidential Election 2025. Together, we can plant the seed of this beneficial change.
