The local pickleball community in Henderson, Kentucky, has been growing steadily over the past several years. What used to be a handful of enthusiasts has blossomed into a vibrant and active group of individuals committed to this exciting game. Our shared passion for pickleball has created a camaraderie and spirit that is palpable each time we meet to play. However, our growth is being stifled by a shortage of appropriate courts in our community. Currently, we are experiencing long waiting times and limiting our ability to welcome and introduce more members to this wonderful sport. 

According to the Sport & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), pickleball participation increased by 21.3% in the last three years in the United States alone. This statistic indicates the rising popularity of this sport and echoes our own experiences within our local community. It is clear that inclusionary and fun sports like pickleball can significantly contribute to health, vitality, and social connection within a community.

We ask for your support in establishing new pickleball courts that will enable us to accommodate our growing numbers, establish local tournaments and leagues, and extend the joy of this game to more members of our community, including Henderson's youth. We have offered free beginners clinics and free youth pickleball camps, all with great turn outs.
