Establish nature preservation as a global religion

The Issue

I feel a strong connection to nature, and it gives me a sense of purpose. Taking care of the environment isn’t just something I feel like I should do - it's very important to me.
Recognising nature and its preservation as a global religion is essential for nurturing a collective consciousness dedicated to protect our planet. Such a transformation in perspective can empower individuals to engage in practices that prioritise ecological balance, much like honoring religious or cultural commitments.

Right now, nature is in serious danger. Many animals and plants are at risk of disappearing. Forests are being destroyed at a fast rate. Climate change is already causing big problems around the world, like rising sea levels, extreme weather, and loss of wildlife. These issues show that we need to act with urgency.

We must encourage governments, organisations, and communities to officially recognise the importance of nature and its preservation as a global religious movement. This could lead to stronger environmental laws, more sustainable lifestyles, and greater respect for Indigenous knowledge. It could also help schools and communities teach people to see nature as something valuable and worth protecting. If we connect our values and beliefs to caring for the planet, we can create a better future for everyone.

Let’s work together and commit to protecting the Earth, just like we would commit to something we truly believe in. Join me in supporting this idea by signing this petition. Together we can pave the way for a new era of honoring Mother Nature, where her preservation is upheld as a universal and spiritual duty.
