I, a local resident, sport enthusiast, and devoted netball player, am instigating this petition out of personal and community needs. I enjoy playing netball and it has become my preferable form of exercise all year round. Particularly, I'm fond of the 6 a-side game, which not only keeps me fit but also satisfies my competitive streak. However, we lack an indoor sports centre in our community that can benefit not only me but also many other sports enthusiasts among us.

Having an indoor sports centre in our local community would offer a much-needed consistent place for people to enjoy their favourite sports without weather interruptions. If statistics are anything to go by, it is estimated that individuals who engage in regular physical activity live up to five years longer on average compared to those who don't (British Journal of Sports Medicine, 2012). Imagine the years we could be adding to our lives right in our community by regular sports!

To broaden the appeal and versatility of the centre, we propose the inclusion of an "Inflatable World" concept during weekends. This would not only be an exhilarating addition for our young ones, but also a splendid activity that the whole family can relish in together.

This facility could be the heart and promotional hub of wellness in our community whilst also creating jobs and boosting our local economy. From social gatherings to local tournaments, it could become a centre point of our community.

Let's stand together and request our local government to consider this lifestyle-enhancing proposition. Lend your voice to this cause, sign the petition to establish an indoor sports centre with an Inflatable World on weekends. Together, we can make a difference.
