Personally, like many Tesla owners in Shreveport, LA, we face a challenge due to the lack of a close-by Tesla service center. The tedious 1.5-hour journey to reach the nearest service center not only wastes valuable time but also makes maintenance cumbersome. A local service center would significantly facilitate Tesla's owners' lives and could even appeal to potential Tesla customers in our community, promoting the use of sustainable, electric vehicles. Shreveport is a city with over 187,000 residents, and the demand for Tesla vehicles is on an upward trajectory (U.S. Census Bureau). We should have better access to services that align with our city's increasing sustainable transportation needs. Therefore, we implore our legislators and Tesla to establish a service center in Shreveport, allowing current and prospective owners easier access to necessary maintenance and repair services.
