The Veteran’s Cemetery Coalition of East Texas is on a mission to establish a State Veterans Cemetery in the Tyler/Longview area, and we need your support! We’re asking for your help in making this a reality by signing our online petition on Change.org.

Currently, East Texas has the highest number of underserved Veterans in the state—over 32,000. For many, the nearest Veterans cemetery is over 100 miles away, making it difficult for families to honor their loved ones. Establishing a State Veterans Cemetery in our area would provide these Veterans and their families with the dignified and accessible burial services they deserve.

State Veterans Cemeteries are funded through grants, and their ongoing maintenance is covered by loan repayments and bond sales—not taxpayer dollars. This ensures we can honor our Veterans while also making a fiscally responsible choice.
