For many of us living in the Green Domain Layout, Phase 2, Brookefield, Bengaluru, the condition of the dedicated land near the Flag hoisting place has become a poignant reminder of our community's need for open, accessible space. Our community, featuring a large population of elderly individuals and children, has no park for exercising, soaking up fresh air, or providing a safe environment for our children to play.

This land has been under constant threat from various land mafias looking to encroach it for their personal gain. However, this land was intended to serve the community as a public space. Our insistence on this arrangement aligns with the many benefits that public parks bring to communities, which include improved physical health, mental wellbeing, and general quality of life.

If this land officially becomes a public park, complete with proper fencing for ensured protection, it will be a significant boon to our community. Considering we have a population of nearly 4000-5000 people in this layout alone, the impact can't be overstated.

This isn't just about creating a new public park; it's about fulfilling our community's crucial need for a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city of Bengaluru, providing a sanctuary for everyone—especially the young and elderly—to enjoy.
