First thank you all that have signed and supported a dog park for our area with bark central scheduled to close soon it is with disappointment that with almost 300 signatures neither the city or county officials have responded to the petition. A simple yes or no if it's a future possibility was the main question. Email our elected officials if your able. The Inverness mayor and council members plus the citrus county board of commissioners! Let's hope we can bring it to their attention and get our cause on the agenda. Yes it would take time before it would become a reality but this area needs an off leash area!
