I am a proud resident of Tulsa, OK, and I believe our city deserves recognition on the national sports stage. Our community is vibrant and passionate about sports, yet we lack representation in one of the most thrilling games - rugby. It's time to change that by funding a National Rugby League team for Tulsa.

Rugby is not just a sport; it's an embodiment of teamwork, discipline, and resilience - values that resonate with our city. With over 400,000 residents, Tulsa has the potential to support and sustain a professional rugby team. Our city already boasts successful minor league teams in baseball and soccer; adding rugby to this list would only enhance our sporting culture.

Moreover, establishing a National Rugby League team here could bring significant economic benefits. According to studies from other cities with professional sports teams (Economic Impact Studies), these teams can generate millions in revenue through ticket sales, merchandise purchases, and increased tourism.

But more than anything else – this petition is about pride. Pride for our city of Tulsa. Pride for Oklahoma as we step onto the national stage with our very own Rugby team.
