Nearing 500 - first level goal!

The traction just keeps building for this effort in Newport News and I am so proud. It is so clear to me that this is not only something that the citizens want but it is something that SO many have been pursuing themselves out of their own pockets. My hope is for that same involvement to be apparent but for the out of pocket funds to be put back into every day life, where it is needed so badly right now. 

I have my early strategy developing with the starting goal of a pilot program which will be proposed to run the from December to March (ideally 2027/2028 to allow time for preparations). I am building necessary contacts and gaining knowledge to know all that will need to go into this. 

With that being said, I want to hear from you. If you are a solo TNR advocate, a veterinarian willing to offer their time, or a shelter employee with access to vital data of how this impacts you, no information is too little or too much. Please reach out to me out the dedicated Facebook group. Tell me your story or how you can help. Words carry weight and will only help the cause.
