I am a resident of Thorpe Bay and often find it challenging to locate affordable, yet satisfying places to eat. As such, there is a growing need to establish a McDonald's outlet on Thorpe Bay Broadway. This location stands strategically close to educational institutions such as Southend High School for Girls, Shoeburyness High School, Southchurch High School, Allen Court School, Thorpe Hall School and more. The presence of McDonald's will not only provide easily accessible and affordable food options to students but will also contribute to the local economy. McDonald's is one of the world's most prominent fast-food chains and it is known for its consistent service and quality standards. Furthermore, it will create local job opportunities thereby increasing the economic activity of the area. According to the McDonald's 2019 Annual Report, each restaurant contributes significantly to local employment and economy. Therefore, establishing a McDonald's on Thorpe Bay Broadway would serve multiple benefits to residents, students, and the overall community.
