As a student at IIT Roorkee, I find it challenging to source affordable, convenient, and quality food, particularly during late study hours or after prolonged days of lectures. Like many fellow students, I depend on rapid, dependable meals. McDonald’s has earned our trust and love with its consistency and flavour. The dearth of such a favourable food option in our vicinity indeed creates a void.

Notably, having a McDonald's outlet near the campus would not just satisfy our food cravings but would also facilitate a space for friends to congregate, study, and de-stress. It would become a haven amidst our rigorous academic schedules, nourishing our bodies and spirits alike.

Roorkee’s population is over 280,000 with a substantial section being the bustling student community of IIT Roorkee. Therefore, commencing a McDonald's branch in this area is not just about catering to the student community but is an economically viable proposition as the demand cogently exists. Keeping in mind McDonald’s reputation and popularity across India, it is less of a risk and more of an opportunity to expand the brand's footprint in this educational hub.
