1974 photo of Boxted Bridge

A friend discovered this photograph of Boxted bridge in 'The Essex & Suffolk River Stour Navigation' book by John Marriage. The caption reads: Since barge traffic ceased, in places the main channel has become shallow and overgrown.  This is mainly due to lack of dredging, as on this 1974 picture taken below Boxted bridge.  The Mill House is partially obscured by the coach -its passengers probably on one of the popular 'mystery' tours.

We think this may have been the Saturday bus on its route from Stoke by Nayland to Colchester (see earlier update) With a magnifier you can just read the word Norfolk's on the side of the bus - is that Tim Smith perhaps sitting in the driver seat?
