Equality in gun ownership AKA No more questions about drug use!

Equality in gun ownership AKA No more questions about drug use!
The Issue
As a fierce advocate for the Second Amendment and the rights of American citizens, I am calling attention to a glaring issue that touches me, and millions of others, personally. Question 21-f of the ATF Firearms Transaction Record unfairly targets legal users of controlled substances, despite the fact that cannabis is legal, to some degree, in 44 out of the 50 United States. This question asks "Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?"
This question recently gained national attention when Hunter Biden, the President's son, was charged with lying about his answer. However, President Biden pardoned his son on December 1st, 2024, setting an unfair precedent for the rest of the nation. The pardon shows unequal application of justice, adding to the contention surrounding this question.
Let's underline the fact that gun ownership is a constitutional right. It is unjust to deny law-abiding citizens this right solely based on their consumption of a plant, particularly when that plant is legally consumed in most states.
We are therefore calling for the elimination of Question 21-f from the ATF Firearms Transaction Record. This petition is about more than just gun rights; it's about equal application of the law and fairness. We demand reform, we demand freedom, and we demand justice. Please sign this petition to make a stand for equal rights and treatment.
