Boycott Walmart!! Send a message to U.S. politicians!!

The Issue

Walmart refuses to pay it's fair share of Taxes in Puerto Rico all the while it pays less than U.S. Federal Minimum Wages when comparing the island to the U.S. mainland. Are we not U.S. citizens? Consumer staple products are just as or more expensive in Puerto Rico than mainland U.S. and yet it refuses to pay a fair living wage? Why the double standard? Walmart sued Puerto Rico to have tax immunity while Puerto Rico is in desperate need for revenue.  The U.S. court system has failed Puerto Rico once again and has sided with Walmart.  It is companies like Walmart that take advantage of Tax loopholes (incentives), imposed by U.S. policies, that strip Puerto Rico of much needed revenue and economic sovereignty.  Walmart rakes in billions from a population that doesn't (1) earn a fair wage, and (2) have access to a fair-open trade economy.   U.S policies restrict or make outside competition more expensive for a population that has a annual median income of $16,000.00.  These policies are antiquated, only serve the interest of American companies, taken Puerto Rico to economic disaster all the while disregarding the needs of the people of Puerto Rico.  Tell U.S. politicians Enough with Unfair U.S. Economic policies that choose Wall Street over Puerto Rico and Hit Walmart were it hurts..Their Pockets!!  !!Basta Ya!!
