I’m Aditi, me and my friend Romila are from grade 7. We are participating in an event called NSIC, for this event we have chosen the topic zero hunger. We started research and wondered, why do some places have more food available than other places? Turns out, factors such as population, land area,  soil fertility and climate affect the produce of food. In a day, 10,000 people die of starvation and 2.8 million adults die of obesity in a year. We strongly believe that every town, village and city should have enough food for all of its population.  While there are some places that have too much food to use and some places where people don’t get even one meal in a day, we hope that in the near future, places will have the exact right amount of food to feed its population. We hope this petition is spread to as many people as possible so that together, we can put a stop to food wastage and make sure there is enough food for every corner of the world. Unfortunately, this petition won’t bring change overnight, however it will be another step toward change, the step will turn into a jog, the jog will turn into a run and the run will turn into a leap.
