STOP corporate-induced sexual abuse and SAVE LIVES!

The Issue

“You have FAILED to hold ANYONE accountable for allowing a pedophile to FLOURISH for DECADES!"

These were the words delivered by Rachael Denhollander, an acclaimed US Olympian, during her testimony against not just Larry Nassar but USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University alike. She was one of over one-hundred and fifty victims, but the majority were not famous competitors. Each perpetration of sexual assault was induced by these corporations, triggered by true negligence and bad practices. But it does not stop with Nassar's victims. Corporate incidences such as this are not only becoming more common, but also more controversially discussed.

There are many who come at fault to sexual assault, but one in particular is corporations. This should be of concern to not only victims, but corporations and politicians alike as well. Steps to proper reform, on legislative and institutional levels, need to be instituted to deter institutional sexual assault because of the ethical and long-standing societal consequences it poses. Stimulations of sexual assault within corporations and/or institutions can cease by eliminating corporate culture and reexamining criminal liability. If we can stop these stimulations, a multitude of US citizens, spanning from Olympic athletes to actors to hotel maids to college students, will be impacted. Signing this petition gives a voice to those who have been silenced for so long and for those who continue to be.
